John Lewis Glass Studio produces its work in a low iron, clear, soda lime glass that is melted in 3,000 Lb. batches. While many of our projects are produced in this clear glass, we also have the ability to melt a variety of glass colors. Building textured graphite molds is another method the studio uses to create unique and interesting objects in their molten state. Finally, We can add another layer of color and texture by applying tinted epoxies and leafing to finished castings.
